Maintaining a Septic System

The best way to properly maintain your septic system is to have regular pumpings by a service professional. This keeps the sludge and scum from building up and flowing out into the drain field and causing it to fail. Additives and treatments (such as our Septic Tank Treatment) can improve system function but do not eliminate the need to actually have the septic tank pumped regularly. No additive can completely rid a system of the sludge that is a natural by-product of the system.
